The Franken-carmera is a small digital camera, a Canon PowerSho Elph 160 to be specific, that I got from my grandmother as it had been sitting untouched since she had gotten it from my mother. It is in all aspects typical with the exception of its remarkable ressurection. During Thanksgiving break '25 the coat that had my camera in it got washed and the Franken-camera was soaked. For the entire week I was home I was heartbroken that my camera had been broken and not even by my hand. I had already made peace with the fact that it was gone, certain it had been fried by the soap and water, but miraculously when I turned it on at the end of the week it not only turned on but all the photos I wa certain were destroyed were back. That inspired me to realize many things but wanting a place to document my picture taking journey was one of them and so here we are.
